Her indoors and I really enjoyed our short break 14-16 October. We crammed lots of stuff into our short stay. Recommend the Tower (Circus, museum, showtime, ballroom dancing etc) 15£ each, So much to do, so little time. We will allow more time next time, thanks. I wasn't disappointed! Excellent service, attention to detail, very clean. better than some 4/5* hotels. The food was delicous and homemade, I don't usally manage such a full three course but it is presented so tempingly. Now we haven't even started on the extremly friendly host and hostess who are never to busy to smile. The bar and lounge were also very comfortable to go in on a evening. I was made very welcome and my slightest whim was granted as they went out of their way to make me welcome and comfortable. The Hotel is clean, warm and homely. The meals are very good and beautifully presented to tempt the appetite. I shall be returning as soon as I am able to do so. Kath and Ian go far beyond the call of duty to make sure you are well looked after.Nothing is too much trouble for them. The meals are superb and the evening meal is excellent and I must mention that the sweets are mouthwatering! Rooms clean and comfortable. Host's Ian & kath made us feel very relaxed and welcome (two very nice people). Nothing to much trouble,even with two very young grandchildren. Breakfasts were excellent. Ideal mid-week break. Can also thoroughly recommend the hotel's bar! We hope to visit again.
